Snore-Cups...

In the wee hours of this morning, i witnessed a first and saw someone fall asleep with the hiccups. funnily enough, it sounded like you would imagine it would be. it went something like this:

"snooooorrrrrttttt, pffffffffft, HIC, snooooorrrrrttttt, pffffffffft, HIC"

and repeat...

given, this photo was taken some 9 months ago, and he had had a long day of present-opening and general christmas festivities but he does have a habit of falling asleep on the couch or whereever he can (particularly after part-taking in a few nightcaps). i admit that i could possibly be a light sleeper but it just gets so frustrating sometimes.

we'll quite often have an argument in the middle of the night:

me: "roll over"
me: (louder) "roll over, you're snoring" (gentle poke in the ribs)
him: "wha...?"
me: "roll over, you're snoring!" (kick in the legs)
him: "i'm not"
me: "ummmmm, yes you were"
him: "no, i wasn't"
me: "well, how the hell would you know; you were asleep?!?
him: "i wasn't!"
me: "i wouldn't be lying here right now wide awake if you weren't, would i?"
him: "i don't snore"

i'll tell you one thing; he's getting within a bees whisker of getting some sort of oesophagus operation...
